I'm Travis Diffenderfer and I'm a relentless creative.
After I served for five years in the United States Coast Guard, participating in search and rescue operations along the coast of California, I decided to put my creativity to the test and to pursue the things I love in Los Angeles.
I earned my MFA in Screenwriting from California State University, went through the Writers Guild Foundation's Veterans Writing project, and was hired as the WGF's first Community Programs coordinator. I've placed highly in many major screenwriting competitions, and most recently took fifth place out of over 1700 writers in New York City Midnight's Screenwriting Challenge. I'm also part of a monthly sketch comedy show called Vets With Benefits, featuring an all veterans cast.
When I'm not writing, I'm deeply fascinated by alternative forms of media and entertainment. Finding new trends in storytelling and audience interaction has become somewhat of a hobby for me. I've produced several podcasts, most notably Dead Sirius: Memoirs of an Undead Loser which currently has 874 Spotify followers and nearly 30,000 total plays across the 21 episodes that are currently released.
I love learning. I love being part of a team. I love making people laugh I love working with other creatives to connect them with the tools that they need to succeed, and creating wonderful things together.
